Winter, from November through March, offers Doha at its most inviting. Summer, June through September, is punishing. Temperatures push past forty degrees, the air thick and still, the streets emptied by midday heat. The driest months stretch from May through October with almost no rainfall. March occasionally surprises with brief showers, but precipitation across the year is negligible, the climate defined more by heat than by rain.
